Temporary total disability or TTD is a benefit coverage offered under Group Personnel Accident Insurance Policy. Under this type of disability, the policyholder is not able to perform wholly and continuously every task pertaining to his or her job or occupation. For example – a worker who hurts his back will be unable to perform his duties for several months until he gets healed. The benefit coverage offered generally in temporary total disability is 1% of the sum insured or max of INR 5000 per week for a period of 100 weeks
